Hello,

Thank for your concerns
Here are some information:
Intel® HM170
3D controller: NVIDIA Corporation GM107M [GeForce GTX 960M]
VGA Compatible controller [0300]: Interl Corporation HD Graphics 530
SubSystem: Micro-Star International Co. [MSI]
Kernel driver in use: pcieport
Kernel driver in use: i2c_i601
Kernel driver in use: i915
Kernel driver in use: nouveau

xrandr -q gives
Can't open display
The error seems coming from the pcieport (receiver error)
I tried: idle=nomwait
nomodeset i915.modeset=0 nouveau.modeset=0

Does it help?
