        To change the label you can do the
          following if you have policycoreutils-python-utils installed

          
        semanage fcontext -a -t samba_share_t
          "/smbBOX48(/.*)?"

        
        restorecron -R -v /smbBOX48

          
        If you don't have the package installed
          you can use chcon, the only problem with this method is if
          SELinux relabel at boot, you will lose the changes.

          
        chcon -t samba_share_t /smbBOX48

    First thing this morning my favorite horse died, 24 years, with me

    I just ran the semanage routine and relabeled and it looks like I
    can start putting files back on the Samba server again. Once again,
