So does my MS-410d, apparently, but when it wakes up from power-save mode it likes to eat the first print job, than start spewing out garbage pages. I found out that by unplugging the USB cable and plugging it back in that's enough to reset the printer to a good state.
I posted a question on openprinting.org; and I'll ask here too, by chance anyone encountered this before.

That's what CUPS did by itself, when I plugged mine in. Except for waking up from power-saving mode, it works fine.
