Allegedly, on or about 09 May 2016, Doug sent: > I have seen "complaints" about javascript in Firefox for quite some > time now. I also see that there are very few if any malware exploits > in Linux. So what is the problem? To summarise it in a nutshell: You don't have to be able to exploit the OS to be able to exploit the person using it. And there's the problem with pages which, while (perhaps) not directly trying to do something to your computer, are so badly coded that their page causes Firefox to run your CPU at full throttle. Making it near impossible to do anything with your computer. -- Boilerplate: All mail to my mailbox is automatically deleted, there is no point trying to privately email me, I only get to see the messages posted to the mailing list. George Orwell's '1984' was supposed to be a warning against tyranny, not a set of instructions for supposedly democratic governments. -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: http://lists.fedoraproject.org/admin/lists/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: http://fedoraproject.org/code-of-conduct Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines Have a question?
