"fixed" is an old bitmap font, from the early 1980s; it is the core built-in font in the X server (used by default). I've been using it for so long that it is just the way a terminal window should look to me. :) However, the "source" BDF file format is easy enough to parse, that I wrote a quick-and-dirty perl script to "double-size" the font, so now I can use my "new" 12x26 on the high-DPI screen. -- Chris Adams <linux@xxxxxxxxxxx> -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: http://lists.fedoraproject.org/admin/lists/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: http://fedoraproject.org/code-of-conduct Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines Have a question?
