Thanks for your instructions. I have installed gnome-tweak-tool, clicked "Get more Extensions", which opened Gnome Extensions in Chrome. I found TaskBar, but don't know how to install it from there. If it helps, I get a message in Chrome stating: "Although GNOME Shell integration extension is running, native host connector is not detected." Can you help me further please?
