What about other *nux distros? > -- not fedora with vlc or any other distrib. my suggestion is to run a web search for a player that will work with blueray. you may have to compile source code, but you will end up watching blueray movies. short side of it is what Tom posted, rip them with 'make mkv' so you can watch them. iirc, the format used with blu-ray [correct name] was created to increase storage, high-definition, and to stop the theft was going on with standard dvd. -- peace out.
