Bonjour, I recently installed mediatomb and I am facing a problem with the updates of the database: it seems that when you change something in the metadata of a file, the scan of the shared directories is unable to take into account the modifications. For instance: I modify the "album" metadata of one file, as far as I understand, this file should be removed from the album it belonged to, and a new album should be created in which this file will appear. Nothing like this happens.... The only way to get this behaviour, is to remove the database and to recreate it from scratch! In the config of MT, I ticked the "full rescan" button which is supposed to indicate to sqlite to rescan all the metadata... Moreover, when sqlite rescans the shared directories (recursive scan is ticked) it seems to choose randomly the subdirectories and does not rescan all these subdirectories. Thank you for helping. -- François Patte UFR de mathématiques et informatique Laboratoire CNRS MAP5, UMR 8145 Université Paris Descartes 45, rue des Saints Pères F-75270 Paris Cedex 06 Tél. +33 (0)1 8394 5849 http://www.math-info.univ-paris5.fr/~patte
