Trying to add a GPG key from a well-known keyserver (keys.mit.edu) but I'm getting timeouts: $ gpg --keyserver keys.mit.edu --recv <xxxxxxx> gpg: requesting key <xxxxxxx> from hkp server keys.mit.edu gpg: keyserver timed out gpg: keyserver receive failed: keyserver error Same thing happens with other keyservers such as keys.gpg.org. Googling for this throws up multiple reports of it being caused by a firewall blocking access to port 11371 (the hkp protocol). I tried opening this port but it makes no difference. Suggestions welcome. poc -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Fedora Code of Conduct: http://fedoraproject.org/code-of-conduct Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines Have a question?
