You may want to check the settings in Evolution and Kmail to see if maybe they too are
using those settings.

It has been over a year since I last worked with that server.  In the back of my mind I
seem to recall issues with setting up ssl, etc. to work properly.  Just a nagging feeling
and I couldn't tell you what I ended up finding.
