If you mean you've installed all the rpms that are on RPM fusion, that's a bad idea. Usually, installing support for one the encumbered formats (e.g. mp3) means installing some of the ffmpeg or gstreamer and gstreamer1 packages, usually with their -good and -bad sub-packages, and sometimes the -ugly sub-packages. There's a lot more sub-packages that you will not need, and it's up to you whether you want to open two cans of worms at the same time. The two and a half of them (ffmpeg-* &/or gstreamer-*/gstreamer1-*) usually cover most audio programs. But some programs use the lame codec. And some programs have a -nonfree recompiled binary program package, that you either install instead, or use alongside. I would have thought that doing an internet search for "fedora mp3 faq" would produce something useful. Or even a "yum search mp3" (or whatever the dnf equivalent command is). https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/question/9111/sticky-what-plugins-do-i-need-to-install-to-watch-movies-and-listen-to-music/ https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/question/7548/how-to-play-mp3-files-with-rhythmbox/ General advice seemed to be that you should try playing a MP3 file with the Rhythmbox program, and when it fails to manage it, it will ask you permission to install additional codecs to support it. But there's more information on those links about doing it yourself. -- [tim@localhost ~]$ uname -rsvp Linux 3.9.10-100.fc17.x86_64 #1 SMP Sun Jul 14 01:31:27 UTC 2013 x86_64 Boilerplate: All mail to my mailbox is automatically deleted, there is no point trying to privately email me, I only get to see the messages posted to the mailing list.
