another FWIW: I have: [jverreau@latitude ~]$ xdg-settings get default-web-browser firefox.desktop [jverreau@latitude ~]$ uname -a Linux latitude.durand8450.info 4.1.7-200.fc22.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Sep 14 20:19:24 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux I have firefox 41, chrome 45 and chromium 43 installed. I did get an unexpected prompt when I recently ran updates which included firefox 41. The first time I opened firefox it advised me that firefox was not my default browser would I like to make it so. I said yes. I haven't seen issues with opening links from thunderbird. regards, Joe Verreau Durand, MI On 09/30/2015 01:39 PM, Paul Cartwright wrote: > On 09/30/2015 01:32 PM, Roger Wells wrote: >> FWIW >> on my gnome desktop, F22, >> uname -a:Linux rwells-x240 4.1.7-200.fc22.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Sep 14 >> 20:19:24 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux >> >> xdg-settings get default-web-browser >> gives >> google-chrome.desktop >> >> but clicking a link in Thunderbird brings up firefox >> >> and yes, chrome is installed as well > mine is f22 > uname -a > Linux pauls-desktop.attlocal.net 4.1.7-200.fc22.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Sep 14 > 20:19:24 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux > > clicking a link NOW brings up firefox, because I uninstalled chrome.. so > how do I reinstall chrome & still have firefox open a link? > -- users mailing list users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe or change subscription options: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/users Fedora Code of Conduct: http://fedoraproject.org/code-of-conduct Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines Have a question?
