I have my grub2 boot on a separate disk, so this may not be applicable, but 
when my machine was upgraded, nothing happened to anything Fedora. However, 
the upgrade did mess up the basic BIOS boot order, so that nothing would boot.
Fortunately, I just rearranged the BIOS order and everything was OK. I haven't
Decided whether Windows 10 is an improvement yet, or not.
