Hi Robert I'm not sure, but I suppose that at the alpha stage
the selection of personal desktops is not guaranted.
Alpha stage? I am speaking about F22, not F23...

I never had problems using this type of installation (F21 and F22):
using an KS installation for a minimal server install to avoid the
troubles with the disk partitionning.
That installs about 800 and odds packages.
after that:
dnf groupinstall Xfce
which installs some more than 1000 Packages.
Then you have an System with Xfce Desktop with no Gnome add-ons or such.
