Hi, I suggest to do this simple check: First, run: $: dnf install switchdesk Then run: $: switchdesk You will see a window titled: "Desktop Switches" With a list of three radio buttons for "Available Desktops", which will probably have these items: Gnome KDE System Defaults Which is selected ? According to the responses, it seems that there are high chances that this is Gnome. You can then choose KDE if it suits you better.
