Fortunately, we are on Linux and therefore we have alternatives. 

The solution is quite simple:

It you like to play around with your computer, like to spend a lot of time to configure it (or in case of Gnome 3 try do configure), want to explore and evaluate a new way to interact with the machine (which might be the default way in the 23rd century), use Gnome 3

If you like to do your work or to concentrate on a useful task now, but like the way Gnome 1/2 used to work, stay at Fedora und use either Gnome Classic (available on the Login screen by default) of one of the alternative Desktops, e.g. XFCE, Mate Cinnamon. And support the developer community of your choice, e.g. by filing bugs or proposals of enhancement, or at least positive feedback.

With Fedora 22 the choices are much much better as with F18/19, when Gnome 3 came as a surprise.
