Unfortunately, it doesn't work. Also, note that this option and the man page to which you refer is for the "mouse" driver. As far as I know, input devices in Fedora are managed by the "evdev" driver (see man evdev) Just for the record, I've also tried to replace (in the file above) the "evdev" driver with the "synaptics" driver.
