Nope. Nothing in dmesg after reboot with device plugged in. It is NOT a kernel issue either. I rebooted into the F21 kernel - same problem. I am at a complete loss.

Which Destop are you using?

I almost always use xfce; there you plug in a device via usb (camera, Kindle, flash drive), and then an icon shows up on the desktop, and you mount it. Alternatively, you can bring up xfce's file manger, and mount it that way.
