Nope. Nothing in dmesg. Even after rebooting to a F21 kernel.
Try a different USB cable. Seriously. I've had this happen several
times because not all cable are created equal.

Nope. Not the cable. Since it doesn't seem to be the kernel, I am at a loss how to file a bug report.
