You may very well be right, but if so, the documentation provided by yum doesn't back up your claim.
It doesn't contradict what I said either. RPM spec description is meant for end users to understand what a package does but not necessarily how it is internally structured and it is not typically considered project documentation.
The process list you posted has the relevant info (ie) " gnome-shell --mode=gdm".
