If I try to mount the efi partition manually in rescue mode, I get an error message. using mount --type vfat /dev/sda6 /boot/efi/ I get mount: unknown fielsystem type 'vfat' If I type in mount -t and press tab, vfat does show up in the list of file system types. I have searched and found out dated bugs with similar issues but nothing current. One of the lists suggesting help suggested running dracut --regenerate-all --force It didn't change anything. My options are to re-install if I cannot get the boot fixed. Robin
