In my experience, kitties barely even acknowledge the mere existence of
humans, much less pay attention to what we say. In their minds, we
simply have digits on our forepaws that facilitate the opening of cat
food tins.
Can I at least assume that you're not a kitty. :)
That is, indeed, a safe assumption. I believe I'm a human--although
there are many who have serious doubts about that issue. ;p
