Hello,
Trying to upgrade to fedora 21. I did:
mount /dev/sr0 /mnt/cdrom
fedup --device /mnt/cdrom --product=nonproduct
then
'System Upgrade sda (fedup)
But it failed and reboot:
I just had time to see something like
Failed to mount ....
Is it because it did not mount /dev/sr0 ?
Maybe, who knows.
According to fedup's man page, --device takes either a device or a
mountpoint. Try using --device /dev/sr0, without mounting the cdrom.
What's
"System Upgrade sda" ????
Is that on the grub boot menu after you do fedup??
I googled it and found nothing like System Upgrade sda
might it be because of using "System Upgrade sda" instead of;
System Upgrade sda1
System Upgrade sda (fedup), in this case, is the grub entry displayed on
boot to do the actual upgrade.
