Run these two tests as root:

- S3 aka suspend - debug test
# echo core > /sys/power/pm_test
# echo mem > /sys/power/state

- S4 aka hibernate - debug test
# echo core > /sys/power/pm_test
# echo disk > /sys/power/state

Both are expected to pass, several times.
