Hi,
up to F20, I used the respective 4 GB full DVD image to install
Fedora, which also contained the XFCE desktop. Now, with F21, there's
a desktop and a server edition, and it seems the full DVD is missing.
Does the desktop edition also contain the XFCE desktop, or do I have
to use any XFCE spin now to get XFCE? And where are all the
development packages and libs, are they still on both editions?
I am right now doing a F21 install using the server netinst:
https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/stage/21_TC4/Server/x86_64/iso/
You can choose any workstation gui during the install. Though labeled:
Server, it is really for ALL of the installs once you get into it.
I have a local repo of the os which is important, or a very fast
internet connection.
What's the score of
$ du -hs "local repo"
du -hs *
6.0M EFI
542M images
88M isolinux
299M LiveOS
43G Packages
97M repodata
And with all of my repo archives, my 1Tb drive is almost full. What to
do with all those old versions...
