I have machines in my classroom that were just upgrade to the 3.16.2 kernels, and after a reboot it just goes to a blank screen and has to be hard shutdown. Nothing shows on the screen were the litte circle usually shows with the earlier kernels?? Booting to the previous kernel works fine, so I just used the grub2-set-default to set the default to the previous kernel? I do have Virtual Box on the machines, so don't know if that is an issue, but even tried reinstall the 3.16.2 kernel, but even then it did the same thing?
