Some basic tools to learn to find the problem (man pages for each but search for tutorials): journalctl
The only strage things I've found in the jounarlctl for the today's boot are: Sep 04 09:18:58 colord[969]: (colord:969): Cd-WARNING **: failed to get session [pid 815]: Unknown error -2 repeated 6 times but I can't find if this helps or not. Of course also the entry about the firewall listed below.
dmesg
the only strange thing dmesg spotted is a set of (repeated) request from/to my machine blocked by the firewall - from my machine to 224.0.0.251 repeated 24 times (protocol UDP spt=dpt=5353) - from 192.168.1.254 to my machine repeated 8 times (protocol UDP spt 1900 dpt various) - from my machine to my machien (?!?) repeated 10 times (protocol tcp spt 39076 dpt 43446) - from my machine to 255.255.255.255 repeated 4 times (protocol UDP spt=dpt=17500) - from my machine to 192.168.1.255 repeated 4 times (protocol UDP spt=dpt=17500) These requests could be those delaying KDE to start but I don't know what process is responsible for them, if it is a necessary request and so I have to opne the firewall or if it is unnecessary and I could remove the service generating it.

Then an interesting article I recently ran across: http://debloper.blogspot.com/2013/12/optimizing-fedora-startup-performance.html
I'll give it a read.
