When using firefox I'm repeatedly confronted by a popup asking if I want to install flash (usually to view some advertising). This must happen dozens of times a day. Does anybody know if it is possible to stop that, and if so, how to do it?
Go to Edit->Preferences->Content and check the box next to Block pop-up windows. If there's a site using a pop-up that you really need, you can always create an exception for it.
