I have the same issue, and I don't have this file they say to modify..
no |70-persistent-net.rules|
To rename eth0 as wan0, edit a file
called 70-persistent-net.rules in/etc/udev/rules.d/ directory, enter:
|# vi /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules|file not there..
