What could be wrong? I tried the last 3 kernels and all do the same thing.

If your laptop has memstick/SD reader, then you might have some hardware
problem with that reader since all three kernel you tested respond in
same way. If you do not need the memstick/SD you probally can ingnore
this messages.
It is not good advice to ignore errors!
