I've had Fedora running on a T-420 since FC18.......and I've never had
any problems. I'm thinking about getting a T-430, but if there's gonna
be issues with the kernel or other features....I might hold off until FC21.

Same here, but I'm running F20 with Xfce on a Toshiba Satellite L305.
Not sure what's tainting the kernel, but once it's finished booting,
it's rock solid.
