sounds like you have cut open some "shanty" store cables also.

i will never be amazed by what they do.

i pick up on their 'tricks' a few years after they opened their
second store here. the where using same electronic pcb thru
several diff models and across several years.

only thing diff were the cases and an increase in price.

they also hoot gold contacts cables over their nickel/tin
contacts, while all quality brands only sell gold contacts.

they should change their last name to "shaft".
