But, on the F19 host if you....

telnet localhost 5972    you get "connection"   and if you do a similar thing on the F19 client....say....

telnet f19hostip 5972   you get "connection refused".  Yes?

Well, it seems to me that the spice server on the F19 host is only listening on 127.0.0.1, a.k.a localhost.   You'd want to change that to listen on all available IPs.  My guess....

Or you could get qucs. That's a free SPICE program that runs on Linux. If not in your repo, Google it and download it.
