3. Switch to 'tty2' - press CTRL+ALT+F2, log in as root and run this

    # chvt 1; sleep 5; DISPLAY=:0
XAUTHORITY=/var/run/lightdm/root/$DISPLAY xwd -root -out

Is there a scheme for copy/paste between the two sessions that I don't know about. My typing is error prone and I would really like to copy and paste this.
