slowly getting back to speed on my fedora stuff and i'm a bit puzzled about the dependency relationship between the packages cronie and cronie-anacron. predictably, cronie-anacron requires cronie, that part's easy. however, if i check to see what "requires" cronie-anacron on my fedora 20 system, i see: # rpm -q --whatrequires cronie-anacron no package requires cronie-anacron # normally, i'd interpret that to mean that i can remove that package independently of anything else. but if i try, i get a list of 35 packages that would be removed due to dependencies, including cronie itself. why is that? what command do i run to see that obvious dependency? thanks. rday -- ======================================================================== Robert P.
