Looking at http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=292751 , it
seems you can override/introduce your own custom defaults:
- Create /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/org.gnome.desktop.input-sources.gschema.override,
and put this in it:
[org.gnome.desktop.input-sources]
sources=[('xkb', 'us+intl')]
then as root:
glib-compile-schemas /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas
