ps2eps disappears after installation

OK, I found the solution while writing this e-mail, but here it is for
the record....there is clearly a link in need of update for the
package.....

So, I tried the following:

$ sudo yum provides */ps2eps
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, langpacks, remove-with-leaves
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
 * fedora: mirror.anl.gov
 * rpmfusion-free: mirror.nexcess.net
 * rpmfusion-free-updates: mirror.nexcess.net
 * rpmfusion-nonfree: mirror.nexcess.net
 * rpmfusion-nonfree-updates: ftp.nluug.nl
 * updates: mirror.oss.ou.edu

Looks like yum install ps2eps should install this.

So, I go ahead and do exactly the same:

$ sudo yum install ps2eps

Package ps2eps is obsoleted by texlive-pstools-bin, trying to install
3:texlive-pstools-bin-svn30088.0-0.1.20130608_r30832.fc19.x86_64
instead Resolving Dependencies
--> Running transaction check
---> Package texlive-pstools-bin.x86_64
3:svn30088.0-0.1.20130608_r30832.fc19 will be installed
--> Finished Dependency Resolution

.....
Installed!

However, I try the following:

$ps2eps

(command not found).

$ll /usr/bin/ps2eps
lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root 54 Oct 16 07:36 /usr/bin/ps2eps
-> /usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/scripts/ps2eps/ps2eps.pl

The last is a dud link.

Indeed,

$sudo yum provides */ps2eps.pl

....gives texlive-pstools to be installed

$sudo yum install texlive-pstools

and we go on with life as usual...(so ps2eps or
texlive-pstools-bin should point to texlive-pstools while instaling
then? )
