A black square that looks like a CRT monitor. But you should know that. If you have a panel and you don't have the 'terminal' you can add the terminal 'starter'. If not there should be one in the 'Applications Menu' near the top. If not there the Xfce terminal *might* not be installed. It should show up in the 'Applications Menu' after you install it.
