We have the following configuration in our lab: multifunctional (printer+scanner) device canon mf4410 is connected to the usb port of a router. Router is netgear WNR3500L and is configured to share this printer to every computer in the lab. What steps should I take to make my fedora17 laptop to scan on this shared device? According to sane-project web-page it's supported completely.
