However didn't manage to produce a lag you mentioned and startup is even
faster,

What can I say. :)
Take into account that you are using 32-bits which can be problematic in
some cases comparing with a lot more tested 64-bits.
This doesn't have to be exactly the case, but.
So....32-bit software on a 64-bit CPU sometimes may not be all it's
cracked up to be :)

I've been following your various and sundry suggestions to users closely
