if you need it.........

someone may even classify it as security risk if all servers
cry out any service they are offering because it makes it so
cheaper to ride attacks if someone is able to connect his machine
a few minutes to the LAN

while this should not happen: never say never

hence, the pople who are using a SMB share on a specific
machine have bookmarks, the people who have accounts on
the internal test-sevrer have bookmarks

the people with no accounts should at least do the drity job
of port-scanning and get refused by iptables-rules soon

irrelevant if you are not using avahi and his .local
stuff - hence it breaks even long working NAT setups
inside the domain "vmware.local" and so is removed here
