Got me tossed? > why does yum not update the rpm's if that's the problem * after a major php-update *any* extension has to be rebuilt * you have enabled Remi's repo for F18 * i guess he started to put PHP 5.5 in his repo * php-pecl-sqlite is not built against PHP 5.5 php(api) = 20100412 = PHP 5.4 php(api) = 20121113 = PHP 5.5 so you have to wait until all extensions are built for PHP 5.5 or be careful with enable external repos, maybe ping Remi because it's unlikely intentional and he is very bleeding edge in his repo for older releases (even CentOS6 got PHP 5.4 long ago)
