Evolution has a missing dependency on dconf

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

F19 updated.

Strange but true: I have a fresh install of the KDE Live spin and added
Evolution as my mail client, i.e. yum install evolution.

It took a while to notice that many configuration settings weren't being
stored from one run to the next. "yum install dconf" fixed the problem.

Presumably this hasn't been noticed before because KDE Live
installations mostly use Kmail, and Gnome installations are going to
have dconf anyway, but there it is.

Reported at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=984695

Note that Evo doesn't give any error message about not being able to to
use dconf, nor does is there anything in /var/log/messages.
