I tried what you reccommended,
restorecon /home
Well as that is listed it would do nothing...
It needs to be recrusive - ie restorecon -Rv /home
In addition since it has not been clarified can you please confirm /home is on a) a local partition (ie not nfs or cifs) and b) the filesystem of that partition is ext3/4 or another that supports extended attributes.
