Hi Dale,I think is being recognized. This is the ouput of $(lsusb) but it does not show too much information:Bus 001 Device 002: ID 8087:0024 Intel Corp. Integrated Rate Matching HubBus 002 Device 002: ID 8087:0024 Intel Corp. Integrated Rate Matching HubBus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hubBus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hubBus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hubBus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hubBus 001 Device 004: ID 8087:07da Intel Corp.Bus 001 Device 003: ID 04f2:b307 Chicony Electronics Co., Ltd
It looks to me like it's not being recognized.
At this point, I suggest that you try a Live CD of Fedora 19, and try the
lsusb command again.

/sys/class/input/event4/device/name:SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad
And repeat this command again, too. I don't quite understand this command.
It seems to have an unbalanced " character. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hello All!I've been playing with fedora a little bit and I just love it! I've have the gnome GDM and the Cinnamon Desktop. My Toshiba U945-S4140 is running Fedora 19 and Windows 7. Didn't like the pre-installed Windows 8 and I just remove it.They both were playing very well, until I've done two things:1. Update a INF/Chipset deal on the Windows part.2. Update the kernel on Fedora.Since the first Update, the touchpad have stopped working. The pointer is not being displayed and, if I connect an usb mouse I cannot move it with the touchpad. (obviously, the usb mouse works perfectly). Is the touchpad even recognized? what is the output of lsusb?
$ lsusbBus xxx Device xxx: ID xxxx:xxxx ... touchpad...
