Definitely is the first INF/chipset update on windows.
Now I cannot even move the touchpad on Fedora 19 installation.
I wonder if I can remove the chipset update...

Hello All!I've been playing with fedora a little bit and I just love it! I've have the gnome GDM and the Cinnamon Desktop. My Toshiba U945-S4140 is running Fedora 19 and Windows 7. Didn't like the pre-installed Windows 8 and I just remove it.They both were playing very well, until I've done two things:1. Update a INF/Chipset deal on the Windows part.2. Update the kernel on Fedora.Since the first Update, the touchpad have stopped working. The pointer is not being displayed and, if I connect an usb mouse I cannot move it with the touchpad. (obviously, the usb mouse works perfectly).I have this on /var/log/Xorg.0.log[ 37.148] (II) config/udev: Adding input device SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad (/dev/input/event4)[ 37.148] (**) SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: Applying InputClass "evdev touchpad catchall"[ 37.148] (**) SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: Applying InputClass "touchpad catchall"[ 37.148] (**) SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: Applying InputClass "Default clickpad buttons"[ 37.148] (II) LoadModule: "synaptics"[ 37.148] (II) Loading /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/input/synaptics_drv.so[ 37.148] (II) Module synaptics: vendor="X.Org Foundation"[ 37.148] compiled for 1.14.1, module version = 1.7.1[ 37.148] Module class: X.Org XInput Driver[ 37.148] ABI class: X.Org XInput driver, version 19.1[ 37.148] (II) Using input driver 'synaptics' for 'SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad'[ 37.149] (**) SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: always reports core events[ 37.149] (**) Option "Device" "/dev/input/event4"[ 37.177] (II) synaptics: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: found clickpad property[ 37.177] (--) synaptics: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: x-axis range 1472 - 5680 (res 46)[ 37.177] (--) synaptics: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: y-axis range 1408 - 4728 (res 62)[ 37.177] (--) synaptics: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: pressure range 0 - 255[ 37.177] (--) synaptics: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: finger width range 0 - 15[ 37.177] (--) synaptics: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: buttons: left double triple[ 37.177] (--) synaptics: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: Vendor 0x2 Product 0x7[ 37.177] (**) Option "SoftButtonAreas" "50% 0 82% 0 0 0 0 0"[ 37.177] (--) synaptics: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: touchpad found[ 37.177] (**) SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: always reports core events[ 37.190] (**) Option "config_info" "udev:/sys/devices/platform/i8042/serio1/input/input4/event4"[ 37.190] (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad" (type: TOUCHPAD, id 11)[ 37.190] (**) synaptics: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: (accel) MinSpeed is now constant deceleration 2.5[ 37.190] (**) synaptics: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: (accel) MaxSpeed is now 1.75[ 37.190] (**) synaptics: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: (accel) AccelFactor is now 0.037[ 37.191] (**) SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: (accel) keeping acceleration scheme 1[ 37.191] (**) SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: (accel) acceleration profile 1[ 37.191] (**) SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: (accel) acceleration factor: 2.000[ 37.191] (**) SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: (accel) acceleration threshold: 4[ 37.191] (--) synaptics: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad: touchpad found[ 37.192] (II) config/udev: Adding input device SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad (/dev/input/mouse0)[ 37.192] (II) No input driver specified, ignoring this device.[ 37.192] (II) This device may have been added with another device file.I have only one solution: Reinstall Fedora 19.
