did you only read about "GRUB_DISABLE_SUBMENU=true" or have
you tested it as well?

Fixed In Version: grub2-2.00-16


   I wonder because the 4th comment dated June 23rd complains it's
still not in Fedora-updates.
My version shows only V 2.00.
