Then how do I know which ones are from 17 and which ones are from 18?  I
could assume that the ones labled fc17 might go away over time when they
are replaced with more recent versions --- but for all I know, that
might never happen.

installonly_limit=3

Kernels seem ok, there aren't many kept.  I only reboot when a software
update seems to require it or lets it seem advisable, so I don't really
know --- three seems about right.
