see the lines below from error_log, they don't mean much to me

[root@F17sda10 df13mail]#
uname -r
3.8.12-100.fc17.i686.PAE
this is a new update from 3.8.11-100, just today
but printing problem still persists
I appear to be stuck with no hope for printing on f17.
except by the kludge of turning printer off, then on, after any/all print jobs.
URRRRGH
I suppose I could try older f17 kernels, i.e. older than 3.8.11-100
but i don't know how to find them
root@F17sda10 df13mail]# yum list available | grep -i kernel
shows only 3.8.12-100.fc17
any other advice?
