I am looking for a new laptop running Fedora. A real workhorse but hopefully not very heavy. Any suggestions?
I'm using a Dell Inspiron N7110 on F17. It's not exactly a lightweight, but it's pretty good. Intel Core i5, quad core, 8GB, 750G SATA, DVD, webcam, touchpad, ESATA port, HDMI, USB2 and USB3, SD slot, Realtek NIC, Intel N wifi. Everything pretty much "just works", have had no problems with it.
Btw, what is the highest vertical resolution I can get? I used to have a Dell with 1200 some time ago, but can't seem to locate any now. Btw, does anyone know anything about the Samsung laptop with 1440 vertical resolution?
The 7110 has a 1600x900 display (17") using Intel graphics.
